        ScanNest is designed as an offline-first application.
        Most document processing happens directly on your device and your files are not uploaded to external servers by default.

ScanNest may collect limited information required for app functionality and analytics.

Crash logs and diagnostics
Anonymous analytics data
Advertising identifiers for AdMob ads

ScanNest does not collect or store your scanned documents, PDFs, ZIP files, images, or personal files on external servers unless explicitly enabled by future cloud-sync features.

2. File Access Permissions

ScanNest requires storage and file access permissions to:

Open PDF and ZIP files
Save scanned documents
Export generated files
Access images selected by the user

These permissions are used only for app functionality and not for unauthorized access.

3. Camera Permission

Camera permission is required for:

Document scanning
QR code scanning
ID card scanning

Images captured during scanning remain on your device unless you explicitly share or export them.

4. Offline Processing

ScanNest processes most operations locally on your device, including:

PDF merge and split
PDF lock and unlock
Image compression
ZIP extraction
QR generation
Document scanning

We do not upload your files to cloud servers for processing.

5. Advertising

ScanNest may display advertisements using:

Google AdMob

Ad providers may use anonymous identifiers to personalize ads and measure ad performance.
